Černá hora (Šumava)

The Black Mountain ( Schwarzenberg German ) is a mountain in the Bohemian Forest, Czech Republic.

It has a height of 1315 m and is located on the border with Bavaria. About the summit runs from north to south, the boundary between the Okres Klatovy and Okres Prachatice.

Below its steep eastern slope is a bog in the Warm Vltava ( Teplá Vltava ) springs, behind the Straz ( Post Mount ) rises with its secondary peaks Holý vrch (1295 meters) and located on the Bavarian border Siebensteinkopf ( 1263 m). To the north, the valley of the Černohorský separates him from the creek vrch 1244 m high Čertův. On the southern slope of the Reschbach, the ( 1065 m) Finsterau wraps around the west below the Eder plates springs.

Nearest places are located 5 km northeast Kvilda ( Kvilda ) and Finsterau, approximately 6 km south.
