Černíkovice (Rychnov nad Kněžnou District)

Černíkovice is a municipality in the district Rychnov nad Kněžnou in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers north-west of Rychnov nad Kněžnou.

Geography

Černíkovice located in the southern foothills of the Eagle Mountains. Neighboring towns are Solnice in the northeast, Lipovka in the east, Domašín the southwest, Třebešov in the south, southwest and Uhřinovice Lično in the west.

History

Černíkovice was probably founded in the 11th century and was first called Grunau. It was first documented in 1354, when it was on Uhřínov owned by Jan Ovčíř of Žampach. In 1376 it was suitable in January of Kolda Žampach, the 1407 equal- son Jan Kolda followed by Žampach.
