César Castro

César Augusto Aquino de Castro ( born September 2, 1982 in Brasília, Brazil) is a Brazilian diver. It starts in the art of jumping from the 1- m and 3- m- board and 3 -meter synchronized diving.

Castro took part in Athens at the 2004 Olympic Games. In the art of jumping from the 3 -meter board, he reached the final and finished ninth. In Beijing in 2008 he missed in the same competition as 24 the semi-finals.

In World Swimming Championships he could reach more finals. His best finish in the individual is a fifth rank of 3- m- board in 2009 in Rome, in the 3 -meter synchronized diving he could reach in Montreal in 2005 with Cassius Duran eighth.

His biggest success was winning the silver medal from the 3 -meter board at the Pan American Games in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, in 2011 he won the same competition in Guadalajara bronze.
