Cesar Rosas

César Rosas ( born September 26, 1954 in Hermosillo, Sonora ) is a Mexican rock singer and guitarist who became known for as a member of Los Lobos mid-1980s popularity.

Rosas was one of the founding members in 1973 of Los Lobos, for which he was also active as a songwriter. Thus, for example, come Do not Worry Baby and I Can not Understand, which he wrote with Willie Dixon, from his pen.

In addition to his work with Los Lobos to Rosas also participated as a guest musician on albums by other artists, including Paul Simon, John Lee Hooker, Charlie Musselwhite, Paul Burlison, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Roomful of Blues and Kid Ramos. In the late 1990s he co-founded the Los Lobos David Hidalgo colleagues and five other musicians, the Mexican folk band Los Super Seven, with whom he recorded two albums. 1999 then appeared Rosas ' solo debut Soul Disguise.
