Cessair

Cessair, also Cesair [' k ʴ esir ʴ ] was in Celtic mythology of Ireland after the Lebor Gabála Érenn the leader of the first wave of immigration to Ireland. She is the granddaughter of Noah and daughter Biths. Along with her father Bith, her husband Fintan mac Bochra, the ship helmsman Ladra and 50 women she had entered the Irish soil 40 days before the Flood on the Dingle Peninsula. Up to Fintan but all drown in the flood. The hill Cul Cessrach on the Knockmaa should be Cessairs grave.
