Cessna T303 Crusader

The Cessna T303 Crusader is a six -seat, twin-engine passenger aircraft. It is mainly used as a business airplane.

History

The prototype flew for the first time N303PD on 14 February 1976. This model was equipped with four seats and two boxer engines with 119 kW. In this configuration, the model would have been with the previous name, Cessna Model 303 Clipper with other similar models of competition. Even before the beginning of the approval process, therefore the design of the T303 model with six seats and more powerful engines was replaced (2 x 250 hp). The new, effective advertising name was Crusader (English for Crusaders ). The Cessna Model T303 Crusader received their approval in August 1981, the delivery of production aircraft began in October of the same year. After 297 aircraft built, the production was discontinued in 1986.

Technology

The Cessna T303 is a low-wing retractable aluminum construction with nose wheel landing gear, Fowler flaps and conventional control. The aircraft offers good short take-off, a spacious cabin and good load. The hull is not designed as a pressurized cabin. Luggage Facilities are located in the engine nacelles, nose and the back of the cabin.
