The language Iceve - Maci (also bacheve, bechere, becheve, icheve, ocebe, ochebe, ocheve, utse, utser, utseu, ISO 639-3 bec ) is a bantoide language from the language group of the tivoiden languages and is spoken by 12,000 people, of which 7000 (1990 ) in the southwest Region of Cameroon and 5,000 in the Nigerian state of Cross River (1990).
The dialects of the language are: icheve (also bacheve ) and oliti (also maci, matchi, oliti - akwaya, olithi, OLIT, Kwaya, akwaya Motom, motomo, ihekwot ). As a second language also Evant [ bzz ], Danya - Kenyang [ anv ] and lately especially the Cameroonian Pidgin English [ wes ] are in use.
