The CH Casco Viejo Bilbao was a Spanish Hockey Club of Bilbao, who played in the Super League from 1975 to 1986.

History

The CH Casco Viejo Bilbao was founded in 1975 and immediately took the game operation of the Super League, the highest Spanish Hockey League, in part. In its first season, the team reached the cup final, a year later, she won in 1977 for the first time the Spanish Championship. This success they could in 1978, repeat 1979 and 1981, where she also won the 1978 and 1981 double of championship and national cup. Prior to the 1981/82 season the club changed its name to CH Vizcaya Bilbao. It was followed by two more league titles (1982 and 1983 ), as well as a finals at the Copa del Rey (1982).

Bilbao took from 1978 to 1983 a total of four times European Cup part. Her biggest success at the international level was reaching the second round in the 1982/83 season after they beat CSG Grenoble in the French Ligue Magnus with 7:2 and 6:4. These were their only two international successes in eight defeats.

As the Spanish Hockey 1986 came into financial difficulties, and Bilbao had to stop the operation of gambling in spite of the great successes at national level.
