Cha Jong-hyok

Cha Jong- Hyok (born 25 September 1985) is a North Korean football player.

Career

Cha occurred internationally as a player of the sports group Amrokgang in appearance, the club of the Ministry of State Security.

The defender moved in 2005 into the circle of the national team before and completed including a use in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup. During the same year he was also in the squad for the final round at the East Asia Championship 2005 and finished in third place there. 2008 ( Final Round ) and 2010 ( qualification) joined two other, less successful, participation in the East Asian Cup. In 2007, he was several times for the North Korean U- 23 side in the qualifiers for the 2008 Olympics on the court, failed with the team but in the final qualifying round.

In the successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup Cha formed together with Ri Jun- il, Pak Nam- chol and Ri Kwang- chon, the defensive line, which was 10 times without conceding a goal in the 14 games of the 2nd and 3rd qualifying round, and thus the formed the basis for success. In the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, he was at right-back in all three games in the starting lineup, the team retired with three losses already out in the first round.

In the summer of 2010 Cha joined the Swiss second division side FC Wil, already another North Koreans is at the Kim Kuk -jin under contract.
