Cha Kwang-su

Cha Kwang -su (born 25 February 1979) is a former North Korean wrestler. It was in 2005 Asian champion in Greco -Roman style bantamweight.

Career

About the personal circumstances of Cha Kwang -su is not known. His international career began in Ringer in 2002 with the participation in the Asian Games in Busan. He started there at featherweight in Greco- Roman style, finishing in 9th place. In 2004 he started in Tashkent on an Olympic Qualifiktaions tournament, but came at featherweight only on the 10th Place. This place was not enough for eligibility for the Olympic Games in Athens.

In 2005 he was then in Wuhan Asia champion bantamweight ago in Dae -won from South Korea and Mukesh Chatri from India. Also at the Asian Games 2006 in Doha, he won a medal, a bronze. The winner was there Jiao Hua Feng from China before Yassin Amiri from Iran.

At the Asia Championships 2007 in Bishkek and 2008 in Jeju / South Korea Cha Kwang -su reached in each case the final, where he lost but both times against the exception Ringer Hamid Soryan Reihanpour from Iran. In 2008, he also took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing. He lost there but bantamweight equal to his first fight against Jagniel Hernandez from Cuba. Since this did not reach the final, he was eliminated and only came on the 15th Place.

Then he ended his international career Ringer.
