Chaguaramas (Venezuela)

Chaguaramas is a city in the state of Guárico, Venezuela, administrative seat of the homonymous municipality. The municipality had 2011 8.866 inhabitants in the year.

Geography

The village is located in the northern area of the Venezuelan Llanos.

History

The village was founded in 1728 by the Spaniards. Previously lived here Cumanagoto Indians.
