Chandra Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana

Chandra Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana (Anglicized as Chandra Bahadur Rana Jung Shumsher; nepali: चन्द्र शमशेर जङ्ग बहादुर राणा, Candra Śamśer Jang Bahādur Rana; * July 8, 1863, † November 26, 1929 ) was of 27 June 1901 to 26 November 1929 Prime Minister of Nepal.

During his tenure, the abolition of slavery was in Nepal ( 1924), the electrification of Kathmandu in the same year and the establishment of the first university in Nepal, the Tri- Chandra College ( 1918), was also accessible to the people for the first time by the higher education.
