Chao'an District

Chao'an (潮安 区) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Chaozhou in the eastern part of Guangdong province. He had an area of 1,232 km ² and had approximately 1.18 million inhabitants (2003 ). On June 28, 2013, the former county Chao'an was transformed into a large urban district. The large communities Linxi (磷 溪镇) (铁 铺镇) were Guantang (官 塘镇) and Tiepu separated and attached to the municipality Xiangqiao.

At the community level, the circle of 16 large municipalities is composed. These are:

  • Greater community Fuyang (浮 洋 镇);
  • Greater community Guihu (归 湖镇);
  • Greater community guxiang (古巷 镇);
  • Greater community Jiangdong (江东 镇);
  • Greater community Jinshi (金石 镇);
  • Greater community Longhu (龙 湖镇);
  • Large village Shaxi (沙 溪镇);
  • Greater community Wenci (文 祠 镇).

Attractions

The Congxi - Ancestral Temple ( Congxi gong ci从 熙 公祠) by Chen Xunian (陈旭 年) at Jinsha金砂in the large village Caitang is since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-686 ).
