Chaordic

The Portmanteau chaordisch relates to a control system which properties of chaos and order together. The term was coined by Dee Hock, founder and former CEO of the VISA credit card organization. He undertook his first on 19 March 1993 during a speech at the Santa Fe Institute, a, in which he was referring to his experience at the creation and development of VISA.

The mixture of chaos and order is described as a fruitful co-existence of both elements in which neither chaotic nor outweighs the ordering effect. Hock assumes that nature is organized in many parts in this way, especially living organisms and the evolutionary process as a whole.
