Chaosium

Chaosium is established in 1975 American games publisher with a focus on pen & paper role and board games. Chaosium moved and relocated games like RuneQuest, Stormbringer, Call of Cthulhu (CoC ) and Arkham Horror. The company of Greg Stafford was founded as a self- publisher of his board game White Bear & Red Moon.

Origins Awards

Chaosium has been repeatedly awarded the Origins Award. In 1987 it received the Origins Award for games Arkham Horror in the category "Best science fiction or fantasy board game ." In 1996 the Origins Award for cards for the trading card game myth ( "Best Card Game" ). The Origins Award for role-playing games, the company received in the category "Best RPG System" 1981 CoC and 1990 for King Arthur Pendragon (3rd Edition). In the other role-playing game categories Chaosium was awarded a total of 15 times. CoC was also added to the "Hall of Fame".
