Chaoswave

Chaos Wave is an Italian thrash and progressive metal band from Cagliari, which was founded in 2003.

History

The band was founded in summer 2003 by the Danish guitarist Henrik " Guf " Rangstrup, which was a year ago moved to Italy. A short time later came drummer Raphael Saini, bassist Marco Angioni, and the singers singing duo Giorgia Fadda and Fabio Carta to fill. A self-titled demo was released in November 2004, of which about 1500 copies were sold. Thus, the Group reached an agreement with DVS Records, where in 2006 the debut album The White Noise Within appeared. After several appearances followed in Europe, such as in the same year at the ProgPower Europe.

In December 2007, the band went into the studio to record the next album Dead Eye Dreaming. Remixed it was by Andy LaRocque (King Diamond). Guest musicians was guitarist Steve Smyth ( Nevermore, Testament) to hear. In summer 2008, bassist Marco Angioni left the band and was replaced by Michele Mura. In September 2008, the band signed a deal with Nightmare Records and released on this label Dead Eye Dreaming on 25 November in the U.S. and Canada. The German label Silverwolf Records together with SPV Records released the album March 6, 2009 in Europe and Japan.

Style

The band plays technically challenging, progressive thrash metal, with the game of the drums to Fear Factory and Nevermore recalls.
