Chapstick

Chapstick (proper spelling: ChapStick ) is a market-leading lip balm brand that is produced by the company Wyeth. It is sold in the United States, Australia, Canada and Sweden. The brand name is colloquially become a generic name in the English-speaking world to describe any lip balm such as Labello in Germany.

The ChapStick was invented in the 1870s by Dr. Charles Browne Fleet, consisting of camphor, beeswax, menthol, petrolatum, phenol, tocopherol and extracts from aloe vera. There are several different chapsticks with additional flavors.
