Charis Giannopoulos

Charalampos Giannopoulos (Greek Χαράλαμπος Γιαννόπουλος, born July 13, 1989 in Alexandria, Greece) is a Greek professional basketball player who plays at a height of 2.00 m on the position of small forward.

His professional career began Giannopoulos at PAOK Thessaloniki during the 2005/2006 season. After holding several positions in the Greek tradition clubs Olympiakos, Panionios Athens and GS Peristeri in 2012 he moved to Panathinaikos Athens.

National

Giannopoulos went through all the junior national teams of Greece and took part with them in at least five European Championships. Among his greatest successes was the gold medal at the U-20 European Championship 2009 and the Vice - Championship in 2007 with the U-18 selection.
