Brommesson also played 12 internationals for Sweden. He made his debut in the 1-2 away defeat against the Hungarian national selection on 28 October 1923 National Jersey. At the Olympic Games in 1924, he came three times for use. With the selection, he won the bronze medal, but came in the games for third place - the first game ended in a draw and made another playoff necessary - against the Dutch national team not used. During the tournament, he also scored his first of four international game hits when he met the 8:1 victory over Belgium on 29 May for the temporary 4:0 into the goal. Until 1930 he was a member of the national team, his last international game he played on September 28th of the year in a 2-2 draw against Belgium.
