Charles Gordon-Lennox, 10th Duke of Richmond

Charles Henry Gordon - Lennox, 10th Duke of Richmond, Lennox, Gordon and Aubigny ( born September 19, 1929) is a British politician and nobleman.

Charles Henry is a son of Frederick Charles Gordon - Lennox, 9th Duke of Richmond, and his wife Elizabeth Grace Hudson. He succeeded his father in 1989 as Duke of Richmond, Lennox and Gordon.

Gordon - Lennox held various civil, business, and church offices. He also served as Chancellor of the University of Sussex, Church Commissioner and Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex from 1990 to 1994. Founded in Duke 's Goodwood House near Chichester.

The Duke married in 1951 Susan Monica Grenville -Grey, with whom he had the following children:

• Eleanor Caroline ( b. 1952 )
• Henry ( b. 1955 ), Earl of March, Darnley and Kinrara, is married to Janet Elizabeth ( b. 1961 ), daughter of William Waldorf Astor, 3rd Viscount Astor, with whom he has four children
• Louisa (* 1967)

He adopted two other daughters.
