Charles Nesson

Charles Rothwell Nesson ( born February 11, 1939) is William F. Weld Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. He is regarded as an enemy of the U.S. Music Association ( RIAA ).

Life

Nesson in 1960 was awarded a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College. Three years later he received the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. In 1965 he worked at the United States Supreme Court John Marshall Harlan. He then worked in Alabama in the Ministry of Justice. 1966 Nesson then went to Harvard Law School. In 1969 he founded the Lawyers' Military Defense Committee as its director until 1972. 1974-1979 he was then director of the Harvard Evidence Film Project and 1979-1982 Deputy Dean.

Charles R. Nesson is married and has two children.

Activity

1971 represented Charles Nesson Daniel Ellsberg in the so-called Pentagon Papers case.

In August 2007, he founded the Global Poker Strategic Thinking Society and has since been its president. Nesson wishes to include poker in the curriculum of schools, as the game negotiation skills, the ability to assess risks and strategic thinking conveys.

In fall 2008, took over Nesson, along with some of his students, the defense is one of the RIAA for copyright infringement through file sharing defendant Joel Tenenbaum.
