Charles Robinson (actor)

Charles Robinson ( born April 13, 1945 in Houston, Texas) is an American actor who is best known Night Court by its long-standing role in the series Harry's.

Life

Robinson began his acting career in 1971 with guest roles in television series. The mid-1970s he also played in several blaxploitation films, but his career was otherwise largely limited to television roles. In 1983, he played a starring role in the series Buffalo Bill, which, however, was set after just one season. The time slot was taken over by the new sitcom Night Court Harry. From the second season until the setting of the series in 1992 played the role of Mac Robinson Robinson in 182 episodes. Between 1990 and 1992 he led in three episodes of the series as director. Between 1995 and 1999 he had a recurring guest role on the sitcom Listen, Home Improvement. In 2006, he starred in nationally televised commercials of the U.S. mobile operator Sprint Nextel.

Robinson is married to his third wife and has six children.
