Charlie Bauerfeind
Rudolf Karl "Charlie" Bauernfeind (* May 30, 1963 in Erlangen, Germany ) is a German rock journalist, music producer and sound engineer. He has produced numerous well-known power metal albums.
Biography
Charlie Bauerfeind was born on 30 May 1963 as Karl Rudolf Bauerfeind in Erlangen. At the age of six, he began taking piano lessons, and later in 1973 he was given drum lessons. From 1980 he played drums in various bands and began at the age of 18 years with the production of demos for local bands. After studying music production and engineering at Berklee College Of Music in Boston, which he attended from 1987 to 1989 and a variety of work as a production assistant, he has since 1989 actively as a sound engineer and producer.
