Charlie Dore

Charlie Dore ( born 1956 in Middlesex, England) is an English singer, songwriter and actress.

Biography

During the visit of the Royal Shakespeare Company - drama school Charlie Dore Julian Littman met. The two musicians performed together as a folk duo. Dore was parallel to some theater engagements. She sang in the TV series Rainbow some songs they had written.

1976 began a new chapter in Dore's career, when she formed the blues band "Hula Valley." In 1977 he founded the country band " Charlie Dore 's Prairie Oyster ", the 1978 " Charlie Dore 's Back Pocket" renamed itself. A founding member was the later Dire Straits drummer Pick Withers.

The move to solo artist followed in 1979 with a recording contract with Iceland Records and the release of their debut album, Where to Now.
