Charlotte Link

Charlotte Link ( born October 5, 1963 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German writer. It is one of the most successful German writers of our time.

Life

Charlotte Link was born in 1963 as the daughter of the author Almuth Link in Frankfurt am Main. My high school, she put on the Christian -Wirth -Schule from Usingen. Less of family tradition - her father was a judge at the High Court - rather because they wanted to take action against injustice done to animals, they studied six semesters of law at the University of Frankfurt. But she moved to Munich in 1986 to the teaching of history and literature science that fed their literary work. At its debut, the beautiful Helen, she began at age 16 to write, she could then publish it 19 years.

She was known to both social novels as well as psychological stress novels in English narrative tradition. The title Sturmzeit, Wild lupins and The Hour of the heirs are a trilogy, which was filmed along with other works from the ZDF television in the five-part storm time. The novel At the end of silence was named in 2004 in the category of Fiction for the German Book Prize, her 2000 published novel The Rose breeder had several weeks to the Spiegel bestseller list. The total circulation of her novels is over 20 million.

Charlotte Link currently lives with her partner in Wiesbaden.

As an active animal rights activist she is committed to PETA and the street dogs of Turkey and Spain.
