Charlotte Mutsaers

Charlotte Jacoba Maria Mutsaers ( born November 2, 1942 in Utrecht) is a Dutch painter and writer.

Life

Charlotte Mutsaers is the daughter of the art historian Barend Mutsaers. She studied Dutch in Amsterdam and worked as a teacher. Mutsaers continued his education in painting and printing at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, where he became an art teacher. Her work has been in the gallery Clement Amsterdam, in the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem, Museum voor Moderne Kunst Arnhem, in the Nieuwe Kerk (Amsterdam) and shown in Beiaard Museum of the Image in Breda. As a freelance artist, she also illustrates the magazine Vrij Nederland.

Since the early 1980s, published Mutsaers their writings. The novel coachman Autumn ( 2008 ) results in the book title poem Osama bin Laden, citing the protagonist and the protagonist helps from his writer's block. Mutsaers received for their literature in 2000 and 2010 Constantijn Huygensprijs PC Hooft - prijs, as well as a number of other Dutch Awards.
