Château de Chazeron

The Chazeron Castle (French: Château de Chazeron ) is located in the Puy -de- Dôme on the territory of the municipality in the canton of Loubeyrat Manzat. So it is about 30 kilometers north- west of Clermont- Ferrand in the Monts Domes at the Regional Natural Park Volcans d' Auvergne (French: Parc naturel régional des Volcans d' Auvergne ).

During the Second World War, it took advantage of the Vichy regime as a detention center for former members of the government Léon Blum, Georges Mandel, Édouard Daladier, Paul Reynaud and Maurice Gamelin.

The plant stands as a monument historique a historical monument since 2 June 1944.
