Château de Rothenbourg

The Rothenburg, also called Rothenbourg or Red Schlössel, is a medieval fortification near the community Philipp Bourg, Canton Bitche, Moselle. Since then, it was destroyed in the 14th century, it is a ruin. She is a rock castle on a sandstone rock in height of 400 meters on a spur of Rothenberg's. History

The castle was built supposedly already in the 10th century by the Bishop of Strasbourg.
