Châtillon – Montrouge (Paris Métro)

Châtillon - Montrouge is an aboveground station of the Paris Métro. It is located between the tracks of the railway line from Paris -Montparnasse to Versailles and is located in the Paris suburb of Châtillon. It is operated by the metro line 13.

The station was taken on November 9, 1976 in operation, as the portion of the line 13 from Porte de Vanves to station Châtillon - Montrouge was opened, which is the southernmost terminus of line 13 since then.

Since 2008, an automatic reversal system is in operation: The driverless train continues on Arrival Track in motion, drive a little further up on a switch, the switch is changed and the train comes back on the departure track. For safety barriers between the platform and the tracks were built with the associated platform screen doors for this purpose.

From 2014, Line 6 of the Paris tram is scheduled to start operating. Châtillon -Montrouge thus becomes the interchange station between the metro and tram.
