Chayanne
Chayanne ( born June 28, 1968 in Río Piedras, Elmer Figueroa Arce bourgeois ) is a Puerto Rican singer and actor.
Life
Chayanne was born in Río Piedras, a suburb of San Juan,. He is the son of Quintino Figueroa, a manager, and Irma Luz Arce, a teacher. When he was a baby, his family moved with him to San Lorenzo. Chayanne has four siblings: Clara, Kenny, Elliot and Emanoel. His stage name " Chayanne ", which he accepted with 19 years, comes from the TV series Cheyenne from 1955.
In the late 1970s he applied to Menudo, but he was dismissed on the grounds that he was too young. He began his career in the music group Los Chicos, by which he became known with only 17 years. Throughout his career, he published twenty albums and sold more than 11 million CDs. In 2010 he released his last studio album titled No hay imposibles.
Chayanne is married to Marilisa Maron Esse and has two children.
