Chelsea Fringe

Chelsea Fringe is a series of events founded in 2012, which accompanied the Chelsea Flower Show of the Royal Horticultural Society in London and the surrounding areas and Bristol. It is a by Tim Richardson established a Community Interest Company and is mainly supported by volunteers, but also supported by the National Trust. 2012

2012 took place about 100 individual actions, including the pothole gardens of Steve Wheen, a bicycle beer garden, a floating forest in Portobello Dock and the revegetation of river boats on the Thames and its canals. In Chiswick an " edible shopping street " with fruit trees was established.

2013

2013 will be held from May 18 to June 9, Chelsea Fringe. Venues include the Garden Museum in Lambeth, Battersea Power Station and the Rothsay Community Herb Garden in Bedford. An emphasis on the cultivation of crops in the city, so include an " edible bus stop" ( Lambeth Hospital Bus Stop, Route 322) and an " edible shopping street " ( Salusbury Road, Queens Park High Street, NW6 ) planned. In the newly designed garden of the Horniman Museum in Dulwich is a planted by Adele Hewitt and Fiona Weir " bee friendly Taxi " issued.
