Chen Quanguo

Chen Quanguo (Chinese陈全国; * 1955 in Pingyu, Henan Province) is a politician in the People's Republic of China.

Chen was in 1976 a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated in Economics at the Zhengzhou University and earned a Master of Economics from Wuhan Automotive Polytechnic University. After working in politics and administration of his home province, including most recently as the deputy party secretary from 2003 to 2009, he was governor from 2009 to 2011 and deputy party secretary of Hebei Province.

Since August 2011, Chen is the successor of Zhang Qingli, party secretary of Tibet Autonomous Region.

Since 2007 he is a candidate of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
