Chenay, Deux-Sèvres
Chenay is a commune in the canton of Lezay in Deux-Sevres in the Poitou -Charentes with 492 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).
Chenay is located southwest of Poitiers in the Poitou historic landscape. Neighboring municipalities are Exoudun in the West, Avon in the Northwest, Saint- Sauvant in the north, Vançais in the east, and Lezay Sepvret the southeast and Chey in the south. In addition Chenay had a station on the railway line Parthenay -Melle Compagnie des Tramways of the Deux -Sèvres (TDS ).
