Chervona Ruta (ensemble)

Chervona Ruta was a Soviet musical group that existed 1971-1990.

Chervona Ruta founded in 1971 by Anatoly Jewdokimenko with the Chernivtsi Philharmonic, for monitoring of Sofia Rotaru. The founding members of the group were part of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Czernowitz.

The group was popular mainly in Eastern Europe and visited on your tours, among others, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland, East Germany, Finland and West Berlin.
