Chester Anderson

Chester Valentine John Anderson ( born August 11, 1932 in Stoneham, Massachusetts, † 11 April 1991) was an American poet and science fiction writer.

Chester Anderson was born on August 11, 1932 in Stoneham, Massachusetts. He studied at the University of Miami, after which he worked as a typesetter and proofreader, porter, motel manager, as well as editor of the rock ' n ' roll magazine Crawdaddy! . He published a total of seven books, including two volumes of poetry. His first SF novel was published in 1964 in the U.S. and was called in German The threat from space (along with Michael Kurland ). For the first part of the Greenwich Village Trilogy Butterfly Child Anderson in 1968 was nominated for the Hugo Award. Part 2 The Unicorn Girl was written by Michael Kurland and part 3 The Probability Pad by TA Waters.

Chester Anderson died on 11 April 1991 from liver failure.
