Chicago Fire Premier

Chicago Fire Premier is an American football team from Chicago, Illinois. Since 2001, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League, which represents the fourth division in the U.S. league system. They play in the Great Lakes Division of the Central Conference.

Since 2011 home games at the Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois will be played.

By 2005, called the club Chicago Fire Reserves. Often the team is officially called Chicago Fire PDL.

History

The Chicago Fire Reserves played in 2001 for the first time in the Premier Development League. The Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire SC established the team in the league for young players from the Chicago metropolitan area, to give the chance to a better development. Under this professional supervision, the team quickly became one of the most successful in the PDL.

In the first seven years, the Reserves could always decide the respective division titles of the Regular Season for themselves. 2003 and 2009 the team managed even to the national finals.

In the 2010 season Premier managed, for the first time in nine years, not a place in the play-offs.

Since 2006, the team Chicago Fire Premier calls.
