Chihiro Yamanaka

Chihiro Yamanaka (Japanese山 中 千寻, Chihiro Yamanaka; * in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture) is a Japanese jazz pianist.

Life and work

Yamanaka plays since the age of four and won the piano at age twelve her first big prize at a talent contest in the Japanese Gunma. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and continued her studies at the Berklee College of Music to 2000 continued. In 2001, she laid in Japan with Living Without Friday her debut album.
