ChildFund International

ChildFund Allaince is an international non-governmental organization for development cooperation with a focus on child-and youth-oriented projects. The organization provides on the basis of Christian charity to help themselves in economically less developed countries. The projects are mostly funded through child sponsorship.

The main objectives are a comprehensive primary care in the areas of nutrition, health and education as well as the introduction to a permanent independence.

The Alliance was founded by 11 international children's charities as a true partnership in 2002. Later came as Japan Twelfth partner to do so. Today, all partners have combined revenues of $ 561 million annually and support children and their families in 58 countries.
