The song

Chili's ( baby back ribs ) is a popular advertising jingle in the USA. It is used in the advertisements of the company, to draw attention to the different variations of pork ribs offered. The song is sung a cappella by a quartet. Three phrases of the song have entered the American pop culture:

  • A staccato baritone voice: " I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, I want my baby back, baby back, baby back ..."
  • A tenor voice: " Chilliiiiiii baby 's baaack .... riiibbs Chili's baby back ribs "
  • A bass voice: "Barbecue Sauce"

Was composed the melody by Guy Bommarito, produced by Tom Faulkner for GSD & M Acvertising, Austin, Texas. From the commercial song cover versions exist, including * NSYNC and of Evander Holyfield. The jingle was the " Fat Bastard " in the film Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged quoted and parodied. It comes including in the sitcoms "Will & Grace " and " Scrubs - " before. In Scrubs - it is claimed that this was the only song the hospital own a cappella group know where the word " baby " occurs. In the same episode " tortures " the group someone in which they sing the baritone part of the song over and over again, without other passages.
