Chimakuan languages
Chimakum is a two individual languages language family, spoken in the northwest of the American state of Washington. The eponymous Chimakum language is extinct. The language of the family, Quileute, still has about ten speakers. Maybe the Chimakum languages are distantly related to the Wakashan languages , but can also be attributed to areal contact phenomena.
