China Europe International Business School

The China Europe International Business School (Chinese:中欧 国际 工商 学院Zhong Ou Guoji Gongshang Xueyuan ) is an international business school based in Shanghai, China. According to international rankings offers one of the best MBA programs in Asia (1st place in Asia since 2004, 9th place worldwide in the Financial Times MBA Ranking 2009 ).

History

CEIBS was established in 1994 as a joint project of the European Commission and the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. The university is funded by both the European Union and of the city of Shanghai. Partner of the university are the Shanghai Jiaotong University and the European Foundation for Management Development.
