Chinese dormouse

The Chinese dormouse ( Chaetocauda sichuanensis ) is a rodent in the dormouse family and the only species of its genus. Initially, the species in the genus tree sleepers ( Dryomys ) was filed. So far, only five individuals were found, all in the Chinese province of Sichuan.

The Chinese dormouse reaches a head-body length of about 9 cm; added a 9 to 10 cm long tail. The weight of the specimens was found from 24.5 to 36 g upper hand, the fur reddish brown to gray and the underside is whitish. The eye area is darker.
