Chinese Taipei men's national volleyball team
The Taiwanese national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Taiwanese players who represents the Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association in international tournaments and international matches. Because of the political conflict with the People's Republic of China, the team officially kicks in under the name Chinese Taipei.
History
World cup
In the only previous participation in a volleyball World Cup Taiwan finished in fifteenth place in 1986.
Olympic games
Taiwan has never qualified for the Olympics. In May 2008, the team failed in the qualifying tournament for Beijing 2008 in Dusseldorf, among others, Germany.
Asia Cup
When the Taiwanese in 1983 participated for the first time at the Asian Cup, they were equal fourth. In the next five tournaments, the results were variable and Taiwan fluctuated between fifth and tenth. In 1997 she again occupied the fourth place. After the seventh place in 1999 it was in the years 2001-2005 from sixth down to 13th place. At the championships in 2007, Taiwan was eighth.
World Cup
Taiwan has never played in the World Cup.
World League
The World League was previously also held without the participation of Taiwan.
