Chioma Nnamaka

Chioma Mathilda Nnamaka ( born June 15, 1985 in Uppsala, Sweden) is a professional basketball player who ran aground 14 times for the Swedish national team. She currently plays for the Atlanta Dream in the Women's National Basketball Association as a point guard. Her brother Oluoma Nnamaka is also a professional basketball player.

Career

College

Nnamaka studied from 2005 to 2008 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She graduated in International Affairs. Nnamaka played at this time also for the women's basketball team at the University.

Chioma Nnamaka was selected in the WNBA Draft in 2008 by the San Antonio Silver Stars at the 21st place. The Atlanta Dream transferred Expansion Draft Pick Ann Wauters, and the draft rights to More Nike Atunrase and a second-round draft pick in the WNBA Draft 2009 on the Silver Stars for Nnamkas draft rights, Camille Little and a first-round draft pick.
