Chleby (Nymburk District)

Chleby ( German chleb ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers northeast of Nymburk and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

Geography

Chleby is located on the stream Chlebka on the Bohemian panel.

Neighboring towns are Oskořínek in the north, Nový Dvůr and Rozpakov in the northeast, Maly Vestec and Havransko in the east, and Netřebice Rašovice to the southeast, and Draho Šlotava in the south, Kovansko the southwest, Bobnice in the west and Krchleby and Jíkev in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Chleby took place in 1292 on the purchase of the village by the Monastery Sedlec.

In the course of Raabisation the village was enlarged in 1777.
