Chłopowo, Myślibórz County

Chłopowo ( German Mr. village ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the urban and rural community Myślibórz ( Soldin ) in Mysliborski powiat ( county Soldin ).

Geographical location

Chłopowo lies in the Neumark eleven kilometers southwest of the city Myślibórz, and can be reached on back roads and country lanes over Rościn ( Rostin ) and Pniów ( Pinnow ). A rail connection does not exist.

History

In 1337 Herendorp was mentioned as a place with a size of 40 feet. Owner was at the time of Goltitz Martin ( von der Goltz ), whose family also acquired possession in the 14th century in the Neumark. During this time, the village belonged to the country Schildberg (now Polish: Golenice ). In the 17th and 18th centuries was a family of Damnitz owner of the village, and later the family of Hartmann, who sold it to a family Spies. This was followed by the families of Karbe and Vaerst. In 1850 the estate had an area of 1,268 ha, including 600 ha of forest, including Vorwerk Carolinshof. In 1914, the now 1,599 -acre manor owned by the "Zeche Mathias Stinnes " in Essen, then in 1929 the " Nordic Wood Handels GmbH., Food".

The small location on the southwestern boundary of the Kreis Soldin village belonged until 1816 to the circle Königsberg (Neumark ). In 1874 it was at the newly established office district Rostin (now Polish: Rościn ) in a circle Soldin incorporated the Prussian province of Brandenburg in the district of Frankfurt, to which it belonged until 1945. Mr. village itself was the seat of a civil registry office.

In 1910 227 people were part of the Gutsbezirk Mr. village to village and 47 Herrendorf. Their number increased to 1933 and amounted to 295 in 1939 at the same level.

In consequence of the war Mr. village became part of Poland and was awarded the Polish name Chłopowo. Today the village is a village within the network of urban and rural community in the same Myślibórz powiat within the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Between 1975 and 1998, the village belonged to the Gorzów Voivodeship ( Landsberg on the Warta River ).

Church

Before 1945, the vast majority of the inhabitants of the village Mr. Protestant denomination. The village was the parish seat and belonged to the parish of Soldin within the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Union Brandenburg. The few Catholic church members were incorporated into the parish Soldin.

Since 1945 there are in Chłopowo only a few Protestant church members. Your current church is God's house now by far the more numerous Catholics. It is now a branch church of the parish Różańsko ( Rosental ) in the Office of the Dean Dębno ( Neudamm ) in the Archdiocese of Szczecin - Pomerania of the Catholic Church in Poland. The evangelical church members living here belong to the parish in Gorzów Wielkopolski ( Landsberg on the Warta River ) in the diocese of Breslau Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
