Use
Chlorethoxyfos is used as insecticide for corn. The effect is based on the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase. It was introduced in 1995 by the company under the name Amvac Fortress on the market.
There is for the States of the European Union no regulations regarding the use of Chlorethoxyfos as plant protection products, it is therefore not permissible. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no plant protection products containing this active ingredient are allowed.
