Choćmirowo

Choćmirowo ( German Alt Gutzmerow ) is a village in the powiat Słupski the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

Choćmirowo located in Pomerania, about 25 kilometers east of the city Ustka ( Stolpmünde ), seven kilometers south-east of Lake Garder and twelve kilometers southwest of Lebasees.

History

Dss earlier Olden Gutzmerow called manor was once the ancestral home of the family Gutzmerow been since this had occurred in Pomerania. 1517 brought the family Reckow in their possession. 1575 was a fief of the Old Gutzmerow Wobeser family. After it had come into the possession of Stojentin family, it was sold in 1764 to Wilhelm Gottfried Graf von Werssowitz. To 1784 there were in Old Gutzmerow a Vorwerk, three farmers, a Kossäten, a schoolmaster and a total of eight households. In the 19th century the estate was sold to middle-class clientele, and it was a farming village from it. 1925 were in the village of 13 houses.

Before 1945, the village of Old Gutzmerow to the Official District Bandsechow district Stolp, administrative region of Pomerania, Pomerania belonged. In 1939, the municipal area was 395 acres, and there were 33 households and 149 inhabitants counted.

Towards the end of World War II Old Gutzmerow was occupied on March 9, 1945 by the Red Army and soon found it under Polish administration. The village was renamed Choćmirowo, and the inhabitants were expelled. After the war, 62 displaced from Old Gutzmerow villagers were determined in the Federal Republic of Germany and 57 in the GDR.

In 2006 Choćmirowo had 41 inhabitants.
