Choi Young-jin

Choi Young -jin ( born March 29, 1948 in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean diplomat. He was from October 2007, the UN Special Representative in Côte d'Ivoire and head of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire ( UNOCI ). In March 2012 he was appointed ambassador of his country in the United States. From 2005 to 2007, Choi was the permanent representative of South Korea to the United Nations.
