Chris Gbandi

Chris Gbandi ( born April 7, 1979 in Bong Mines ) is a Liberian international footballer, who also owns the American citizen since 2001.

Gbandi first played from 1998 to 2001 at the University of Connecticut. In 2000 he received the Hermann Trophy as the best college players. In January 2002, was a transfer to FC Dallas. Here he was first the entire year 2002 due to a torn ACL suffered in late 2001 from. From 2003 Gbandi then played regularly and was able to fight for a regular place. In 2008 he signed a contract with the Norwegian second division side FK Haugesund.

In 2010 he returned to the U.S. and since then plays for Miami FC.
